The PersonalFit™ PLUS sterile disposable pump set for Symphony^® is part of Medela’s innovative PersonalFit™ PLUS range. All these breast pump sets have a groundbreaking design, based on Medela’s unique research and expertise.³

The characteristics of the pump set’s fully rotatable breast shield, including its oval shape and 105° opening angle, improve fit to the natural contours of the lactating breast to promote gentle pumping.³ It comes in a range of tunnel sizes to help ensure optimum nipple fit.

In addition, the breast pump set as a whole has fewer parts, that are larger and easier to handle, than those of standard pump sets.

All PersonalFit™ PLUS pump sets have integrated overflow protection (also referred to as a closed system) for increased levels of hygiene: a membrane within the connector helps stop milk overflowing into the tubing or motor during use. As a result, mothers do not have to sit upright when expressing, allowing them to find the most comfortable position for them.

Using the PersonalFit™ PLUS sterile disposable pump set

To make life easier for healthcare professionals and mothers, this single-use pump set can be used straight from the packaging.

After washing their hands, the user simply slots the breast shield into the connector, attaches the tubing, and screws on a milk collection bottle. The pump set can then be connected to the Medela Symphony^® to start expressing.
